This Marin Headlands was the perfect location for McKenzie and Teddy’s engagement session. This down-to-earth couple brought their rambunctious and sweet dog, Harper, with them to the beach. Harper is enthusiastic when it comes to playing ball, to put it mildly. So, being able to chase it on the beautiful shores of Rodeo Beach was a wonderful memory for everyone. When you look at the beach photos, play “find the ball” with yourself. Hint: it’s orange. I love the photos where he’s just staring at it, near the couple.
McKenzie is a natural beauty with sun-kissed blond hair and a smile that would light up anybody’s day. The red dress she wore looked lovely against the wild mustard blooms in the distance. Teddy is a handsome and rugged guy with an infectious smile. It was so fun to see this couple interacting with each other. Their love of the outdoors and skiing is a real part of their bond and it is fitting that they will be married in Tahoe later this year, where McKenzy is originally from.
Close to sunset, we headed from the Marin Coast to Hawk Hill , which offers sweeping views of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge. Can you believe how beautiful McKenzie’s dress was? Who can resist a girl in a tulle skirt and red heels? Our last location was at the base of the bridge in the Cavallo Point area. The backgrounds here are textured and varied, just my cup of tea to create visual variety in the session. I so look forward to photographing their Tahoe wedding later this year!
