Nasim and Jason’s Persian wedding celebration at the Cypress Hotel was a feast for the senses. As part of this rich cultural celebration, a spread or “sofreh” is prepared for the bride and groom. The word sofreh means “spread” like a table or food spread and appears in many Persian celebrations. The intricate sweets, glowing candles, and fragrant blooms created a symbolically rich ceremony. Nasim and Jason saw each other before the wedding, and shared an adorable “sneak peek (second image below.)” The music, food and dancing were all infused with deep joy and excitement. Congratulations!

Wow! I love how you captured their sofreh! Also, the bride comes off looking so calm and natural. Beautiful work!
