Ruben and Wayne decided that they were going to have a Ritz-Carlton wedding, and the location in Half Moon Bay would do just fine. After spending so many wonderful moments there over the years, it was an easy choice when they thought of a perfect venue. After being together for decades, this dynamic couple decided they wanted to commit their lives to each other in front of their family and friends. The day began for Ruben and Wayne on the white sandy shores of the Pacific in Half Moon Bay. The skies were bright blue and they had the beach nearly all to themselves. They had previously had a commitment ceremony in Hawaii and wanted to capture that aloha vibe in the morning with shorts and flip flops. There are some funny images which show how our California waters are not quite as warm as Hawaii’s. It was a great way to start the day. They went on to get dressed in custom tuxedos and designer shoes and gave each other gifts of silver engraved cufflinks from Tiffany’s. These two are huge fans of that Tiffany’s and Co. and even flew me to New York City so we could portraits in the NY location! The ceremony took place outside the beautiful Ritz, with the elegant building on one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other. Ruben’s sister walked him down the aisle in tears while Wayne’s parents were honored to do the same for him. There was not a dry eye in the audience. This wedding was a long time coming and friends and family were truly ready to celebrate. The reception was elegant and sophisticated with hundreds of white orchids and candles. Their cake even had a Tiffany blue ribbon. I told you they loved that store! Speeches were given and dancing went on for hours. What an incredible day. Congratulations Reuben and Wayne!
